My position was to be their content writer for their fledgeling blog. I used my knowledge about current content strategy to write informative blog posts and graphics to go along with that content.

Script writing allows me to draw on my personal creative skills as a creative writer and doing further research on how to make an effective voice over ad.
My relationship with the brand and my previous knowledge of their "voice" assisted in me creating a clean and simple script.

Seventy Five North is a non-profit organization which facilitates the dissemination of information in the predominantly and historically Black neighborhoods of Omaha, Nebraska.
I assisted them through my contractor Stable Gray.
I wrote copy for community events, available resources, and daily interactive content.
Note: Images on social media were added post submission of copy and the post themselves were published by the Stable Gray team.

The Omaha National guest survey was a mockup I created in my own personal time to assist the receptionist department. The primary function of the company is to provide top-quality customer service to our injured workers and our clients as a worker’s compensation company, and I wanted to track that service for clients who came into the office.
I conducted research on worker’s compensation companies and their surveys in order to create one for Omaha National.
Omaha National is a company which hires excellent people and that continues to be a quality throughout the company. My goal was to amplify this feeling by using language that emphasized that the reception department was invested in providing excellent service.

I pride myself on being a lifelong learner and this is an example of how I push myself beyond my own skillset. I put together a video to explain the email sorting feature of hey.com.
While my primary focus is writing copy, I know that I should continue to acquire new skills for future ventures. This was initially created as an assignment for a job application, but I felt proud of the work that I put into this piece.
I expanded my knowledge of Canva in the process--so it’s a win in my book!

Email copy can make or break a campaign. This sample was an assignment to bring in clients for a painting company. I researched the business and looked at previous social media posts to mimic the voice of the business.
I made sure to keep it short, sweet and to the point with a grabbing subject line, compelling preview text, and selling the product in the main body of the email.
